Khanada covers Pet Shop Boys classic, "Later Tonight" from their 1985 debit album, "Please". Work on "Later Tonight" started in early 2019 and was originally going to be the first Khanada single. However, the project's debut was delayed for a couple years.

"Boulevard Swan" was written in late 2020 and released in July of 2021. Leading up to the release, it was thought that a fresh and original composition should spearhead the new project. This allowed for the opportunity to rerecord "Later Tonight" and feature Naren Renz of Peeling Grey to play piano, lending a more organic flow to the track.
